A simple system for repurposing what you already wrote

One substantial piece can carry six months of output without repeating itself.

Repurposing has a bad reputation because it is usually done badly: the same post, reformatted, until everyone is bored.

Done properly it is not repetition. A long piece contains several arguments, and each one can stand alone for an audience that never read the original.

Take something you wrote that did well. Pull out every claim that could be argued with. Each of those is a short post, because a claim someone might dispute is inherently more interesting than a summary.

Space them out. The people who read the original will recognise the ideas, which is fine — recognition is not the same as boredom, and most of your audience missed it the first time.
